Town of Manheim
The Town of Manheim was settled about 1755 by Jacob Timmerman and Johann Jost Snell. Henry Rhemensneider and Johannes Boyer settle on "Glen's Purchase" prior to the Revolution. The Town was Formed March 3, 1797, as part of Montgomery County and twenty years later was annexed to Herkimer County.
